I just love the way Michelle (mhreen08) used the kit Best Wishes, available at ScrapMatters. I love the nature feel to this layout! The way the photos are placed show case them so well! I love how she used the metallic swirly elements and the fastener with the date is AWESOME!!

Hello Everyone! Sharon here, and I’m going to share a recipe…Shrimp Ceviche! I love ceviche and just couldn’t find the perfect recipe and so I looked at three different recipes for ceviche and combined the ingredients that I liked the most to make this recipe. I think it’s wonderful!
Doesn’t it look yummy?! Especially eating it with some tortilla chips!
Here’s the recipe:
1 lb shrimp
4 limes
3 lemons
I cucumber
I small red onion
2 tomatoes
1 jalapeno (remove seeds)
1/4 cup cilantro
3 Tbsp olive oil
Squeeze the limes/lemons into a bowl. Boil the shrimp in water for 1 minute then put them in an ice bath. Chop the shrimp in bite size pieces and put in juice (the shrimp will continue to cook from acid in juice). Put the shrimp in the juices in the refrigerator for an hour. Chop the rest of the ingredients in small pieces and add to juice. Add the olive oil and salt/pepper to taste.

Did you know that when you have a template or a quick page or even a page you made for yourself, you have several more pages? Just rotate or flip the page! In the Image menu in PSE, you’ll find the first choice is Rotate and in that submenu there are several choices for changing the orientation of your page. Sometimes I rotate a template to accommodate the orientation of my pictures. Sometimes I want to make a two page spread with each page being mirror images.
Here is a layout I just completed, followed by two ways I could rotate or flip it and use it again with different pictures.
I just selected the pictures and elements I didn’t want in the layers palette and dragged them to the trash can. I am working with the layered PSD file, of course, so the next step is to insert the new photos between the background and the frames.
Think about making your next scrapbook page, template, or quick page go further by rotating or flipping it. Happy scrapping!
